This 2013 hunting season was not successful and I am disappointed with myself, but I can't control what the deer do and when they come out. This past Manitoba winter was a hard and long winter making it hard for the deer to survive especially the babies who are so small. I am afraid this 2014 winter will also be hard for the deer to survive because it is extremely cold. Im really looking forward to the 2014 hunting season, maybe ill be that big 5 by 5 I was hoping for.
